Corrections Within Corrections - Kedri @ 9:06 PM
Right, so you may recall I posted a correction the other day for the entitypath in the StarWarsMP.qe4 file. Well, even the correction was wrong. Once and for all, here is the correct path:
"entitypath" "__QERPATH\MP_entities.def"
See the forward-slash there? Slippery little bugger... The qe4 file in the pack itself is correct, so if you just re-downloaded the tools, you're all set. Thanks go to Michael Chang Gummelt for dropping a line and letting me know about the typo.

Raven has released an updated version of yesterday's editing tool pack; we've replaced our copy of the zip file with this update, so you can either make the correction yourself or re-download the tools (still 3.95MB).

JKLImport for JK2Radiant Now Available - Kedri @ 2:54 PM
Hot on the heels of the JK2 tools release, dr0id sends word he's just posted a version of his JKLImport plugin for JK2Radiant. In a nutshell, JKLImport will let your import your Jedi Knight levels into JK2Radiant. It's available for download at his homepage: http://droid.codealliance.ca. Thanks, dr0id!
Jedi Outcast Editing Tools Released - Kedri @ 12:48 PM
The moment we've all been waiting for... I'm extremely pleased to announce we've received (and posted) Raven's official editing tools for Jedi Outcast! Here's a clip from Kenn Hoekstra's message, describing the contents of the ZIP file linked below:
The Jk2 Map Editor Tools Package includes:

JK2Radiant - the map editor.
MD3View - model viewer for .md3 format models
ModView - model viewer for .glm (Ghoul2) format model
ShaderEd2 - the shader editor/viewer
sof2map - the map compiler, you will not be using this directly, JK2Radiant uses this.

I saw on Jedi-Outcast.com a link to a tournament on www.jolt.co.uk. Here's an excerpt from the primary source:
I'm pleased to announce that the very first Jolt Force Of One Tournament for Jedi Knight II has opened for signups! It's a 64 player, 1 vs 1 Duel knockout tournament, beginning with 1 win to progress in round one, increasing to 11 wins in the final. It's sabers only, all forces available, and we hope you fight with honour and decency! Full rules can be found here.

Although its full, you can still sign up for reserves.

Description: It works well if you start a new game, not a saved. With this mod, you can play in JO as Jan Ors with dark clothes and sith tatoos of Naga Sadow. Her lightsaber is a reborn type and the blue blade core is translucid. You start with all the force powers at level 3. Jan, Luke, some reborns and shadowtroopers, basic Imperial troopers, and officers are now friendly and follow you everywhere. However the New Republic troopers, prisoners, Lando, Tavion, Desann, amd some Imperial droids are your enemies. Technically, when you use the internall view, the saber is ugly because playing as Jan isn't expected by Lucasarts.

Description: This is the first skin I have ever made and released. It is a character of 2 gloves that "float". It is the Evil Sith himself cloaking his whole body. There is a computer player version of him.

Description: A level pack of five skybox-type levels. Uses 16bit MATs, so they will only work with (most) 3D-Accelerators. The level architecture & 3dos were made by me, the skyboxes are ported from skyboxes for UT/Quake or made by me, too. There are different versions of each level in the GOB: Guns, sabers, Rbots. The levels can be played with a time/points limit, you'll stay in your "mode" (i.e. the five guns levels will cycle, the four saber levels will cycle, and the 2 Rbots level will cycle)

Warning: Will only work with 3D-Cards supporting 16bit mats.

Rbots:Two of the levels can be played with Raynar's Rbots, version 0.31 alpha - great work Raynar!
